Notice of Intent, Hillcrest Educational Centers, Inc. 349 Old Stockbridge Rd., Map 1 Parcel 3.  Installation of approximately 600 linear feet of new underground water service, portions of which will be located in the 100 foot buffer zone.

Bob Fournier of SK Design Group made the presentation and reviewed the plans with the Commissioners.  He stated that most of the work will be done in the buffer zone.
DEP had no comments.   He expects that the project will commence in a month or two.   He will notify NC when erosion controls are in place.

On May 24, 2012, there was a site visit attended by NC, VA, TF, JS, DL and Bob Fournier.

DL made a motion to accept the proposal as designed with the special condition that the Conservation Commission will be notified with the erosion controls are put into place.  VA seconded the motion.  The Commission voted to approve 6-0.

Approve minutes: JS made a motion to approve the minutes of May 17, 2012 with one minor edit.  DL seconded the motion.  The Commission voted to approve 6-0.

Other Business:
A. PA received an email on June 2, 2012 from Richard Woller of Greylock Discovery Tours regarding the Lenox Fire Tower.  The email, also addressed to the Town Manager and the Board of Selectmen, inquired as to the procedures or notifications that were followed for the communications building that was erected under the Lenox fire tower last year.  PA responded with an email to Mr. Woller on the same date advising him that his letter was being forwarded to NC. NC then contacted Mr. Woller and explained that structure was a communication facility for the state police.
B. Richard Heiss, part owner of property on Sargent Brook called NC to ask if they could reduce the height of the vegetation on the property.  NC advised that the only work permitted on this parcel is to mow the path to the dock.
C. Kevin Holden contacted NC regarding property at 13 Taconic Avenue.  The property owners had asked Mr. Holden to remove five diseased trees on their property.  NC met Mr. Holden at the site and advised that the removal of one of the trees, due to its location, would require an RDA.

Respectfully submitted,
Peggy Ammendola
